First opened in May 1896, the English Presbyterian Church was built as a place of worship for the people of Saltney Ferry. This community was formed by the workers from the L.N.W. Railway company who had opened a locomotive shed at Mold Junction.<\/p>\n

A private purchase and the setting up of a Community Interest Company means the vision of creating a community space starts to take shape. But first, a lot of tidying up, cleaning and clearing was needed!<\/p>\n

Renovations begin and we start simply – by serving out of the back of a camper van and under a gazebo. Then a large grant meant we were able to start the major renovation works.<\/p>\n
